Will the Fury- Joshua heavy weight unification fight happen? – Inside details

The UK is now home to all the boxing belts; – Tyson Fury now holds the WBC and Ring Magazine heavyweight belts while Anthony Joshua is the unified WBA, WBC & IBF champion.

According to ring Magazine Boxing hierarchy, the UK is now the home to the boxing Champion and number 1 boxer in the heavy weight division.

There is no better time for a Unification fight – thats the fight the world wants to see

A world heavyweight unification fight between Tyson Fury and  Anthony Joshua would be the biggest sporting event in Britain since the 1966 World Cup final.

But will the fight happen? there are a few stumbling blocks….

Wilder has triggered the rematch clause for a third fight

Deontay Wilder claimed his outfit was too heavy for his legs, he has now demanded a contracted third fight, Fury will have to honor the contract and give Wilder his third fight which contractually should happen before July 18. Wilder is expected to make almost 20 million from the Fury- Wilder 3rd fight.

“I don’t think people want to see the third fight (the first one in December 2018 was a draw). They’ve had 19 rounds now, I think Wilder’s probably won three of them, and in the last fight he didn’t win any and he got battered.

Anthony Joshua is already scheduled to fight the Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev, possibly on the 20th of June at the new Tottenham stadium in North London.

But no one really wants to see that fight; Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter is dragging his feet on Finalizing all the details with high hopes that Wilder could be talked out of a third fight.

Kubrat Pulev could receive a vast step-aside fee from Anthony Joshua’s team to enable Joshua fight Fury – but first they have to convince Wilder to drop the trilogy battle .

Fury vs Joshua fight will be a 50/50 split in terms of earnings.

The most influential boxer who attracts ticket sales and pay per view buys will earn the most – Now its official that Tyson Fury’s rematch win over Deontay Wilder has broken the live gate record (money generated from ticket sales) for any heavyweight fight in history. the fight generated $16.92m with 15,816 in attendance.

After Anthony Joshua dispatches mandatory IBF challenger Pulev in London on June 20. & Fury wins his trilogy with Wilder. If they both still stand as winners , then their profiles will improve, the excitement is heightened and the world will roll out its red-carpet for a fight that will go down as one of the greatest in history!
