East Africa feels sidelined from the beyonce’s album
The sound track is a love letter to Africa, and I wanted to make sure we found the best talent from Africa and not just use some of the sounds and did my interpretation of it.

The search for the best African talent led her to – Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Tekno , Busiswa , Mr Eazi , Moonchild Sanelly and Shatta Wale They are mostly Nigerian and Ghana musicians, plus a few mix of south Africans.
But as a result, East Africa feels unrepresented especially because the movie is set in the backdrop of Tanzania and Kenya and the Intro of the sound track was performed in Swahili- common to East Africa
Beyonce has taken over the movie?
She is trending more than the movie, even though she has barely done any interviews: Except for a very short conversation with Good morning America when she talked about the inspiration for her song spirit.
Unfortunately for her co actors who actually do press – Donald Glover, Seth Roger, Billy Eichner- the interviewer always ask about Beyonce, like she is a Demi god-
“what does it feel like to work with Beyonce” …is a question her co actors always get. Jimmy Kimmel actually asked Donald clover if he recorded in the same room with Beyonce
The lion King remake has received poor reviews by critics
A couple of critics and press have had access to a private screening of the movie- and their reviews are not encouraging- Forbes says we should be prepare to be disappointed.
The movie was directed by Jon Favreau, the idea was to use photo realistic animation to recreate the movie so it looks like real animals. But it did not work completely. The critics claim the movie lacked some of the facial expressions and warmth that defined the original version.
