For months we played the prediction game while apple teased us with deliberate leaks. Now the big date has come and gone and the new iPhone is here, but is it worth all the hype?
Here’s seven reasons to have a taste of the big apple…
World’s best Photo Opp:
The new iPhone focuses on photography. The cameras on both phones have been updated with an optical image stabilizer, a new lens and a 12 megapixel sensor.
The flash has four LEDs and can detect the flickers of artificial lighting to better compensate.
The iPhone 7 plus has two side-by-side12-megapixel cameras. One is wide angle and one is telephoto. It gives users 2x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom.
That means you can get higher-quality zoom from farther away. Portrait shots will look better than ever.
Wanna go for a swim, or a desert ride Apple describes the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 plus as “splash, water, and dust resistant,” and it should hold up to accidental drops in the pool, bathtub, or shower or light splashing.
However, it shouldn’t be used in high-pressure water conditions, such as in direct shower water, and it shouldn’t be kept under water for extended periods of time.
Welcome to a Wireless future:
Say goodbye to headphone jacks, welcome to Apple Air Pods; a pair of wireless ear buds that aren’t connected to each other by a cord but rather will connect using the Lightning port. They will be available in October for $159.

The little wireless buds come with a white case for charging, and get up to five hours of listening time per charge. The ear pods has dual beamforming microphones that filter out background noise and Its sounds great with music, Movies, when you make phone calls or simply send errands to siri
A gold standard of black:
Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, has introduced a deep, high-gloss jet black.
Crafted from bead-blasted aluminum, the new black model has a rich, deep matte finish. The high-gloss jet black finish was achieved through a new feat of design engineering — a remarkably precise, nine-step process of anodization and polishing.2 The end result is so purely and continuously black, you can’t tell where the aluminum ends and the glass begins. The dark side, indeed. — Apple has also made them available in signature silver, gold, and rose gold finishes.
