Murder or robbery?
premeditated murder wouldn’t be a huge stretch. XXX Tentacion real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy had a history of feuds with rappers like Migos, Drake Trippie Redd, and Rob Stone’s gang in his short career.
In addition to feuding with fellow rappers, The hit maker lived his entire life in a constant brush with the Law, at the time of his death, he was awaiting trial for multiple offences including aggravated battery of his pregnant girlfriend.
A troubled childhood probably triggered the worst him:
He spent the first decade of his life cycling through the homes of friends, family, and his grandmother.
According to onfroy , his mom had him when she was 17. At the time, she was not ready for kids, so he lived with a string of people but most consistently his grandmother, Collette Jones, in a gated community. “My grandma really feels like my mom,” he says. “My mom almost feels like more of a sister.”
Occasionally, his mum got him the best things money can buy, but she was never there for him. he constantly skipped school, got into fights and ran away from home.

Dropping out of school & Juvenile detention;
Onfroy dropped out of high school and graduated to more serious offenses, including armed robbery, burglary, possession of a firearm, resisting arrest, and possession of drugs.
While in Juvenile camp, he bloody beat-up an inmate he referred to as a faggot for starring at him. there was blood everywhere when the security pulled him off. he even described wiping the blood across is face.
But make no mistake, through it all he was still focused on his love for music and he went for it fearlessly– “Everyone is going to get their turn, literally. Craving and ambition is the way to speak to the world. if you want something so bad and speak it into power, its going to happen. I am a first hand witness in that”
A life of crime + Damn good music….unfortunately that’s the right mix to be a success in hip-hop music

He returned to jail in Broward County shortly after for earlier charges of armed home invasion and aggravated battery. Again he was released and placed on house arrest.
By October 2016 – for the first time since his life of crime , he was in serious trouble; at the same time his music and popularity was exploding;

and when TMZ asked him about the incident and if he would beef up his security, his reply was hilarious. Infact he laughs when he talked about his attacker who might die in the hospital
The fighting habits continued…

During another performance at the Rolling Loud festival in the Bay Area, he gets into another fight with a fan. A video below shows him hitting the crowd member in the head with his microphone. The media was careful when covering him, but fans Fans did not care about the allegations against him:
The 18-track, 37-minute album is an exercise is breaking down genre barriers, jumping between trap, alt-rock, metal, and reggaeton — “I was trying to appeal to every market,” Onfroy said in an April interview. “Even if there’s someone who doesn’t like the entire album, you have to like at least one song.”
Streaming platform Spotify announced a new “hateful conduct” policy that prohibited the music of Onfroy and accused sexual predator R. Kelly on its playlists. but after a huge backlash and threats of boycott they reinstated his music back.
