LeBron James just created an uproar in the world of basketball, Two days ago when he called himself the GOAT. He believed his success with Cleveland Cavaliers made him the greatest player of all time.
You see, before Lebron James came to Cleveland, the club has never won a championship in 52years, In 2016 he led them to the finals and they won the Trophy
Is he really the greatest of all time –?
In naming the greatest players, some say its Kareem Abdul Jabbar, some say its Karl Malone….but the top three always named as the Goats are Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.
LeBron James
Three championships, Three Final MVP awards, four MVP awards, 14 All-Star appearances. Nine NBA Finals – winning three and losing six.
What LeBron James lacks in trophies he has made up with impressive play stats- He is the only player in NBA history with 30,000 points, 8,000 assists and 8,000 rebounds (as at mid 2018…the numbers have grown by now)
leBron’s ability to not only play but dominate all five positions is reminiscent of the great Magic Johnson.
He can play as a point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward, and center.
Lebron James Fans also call him the goat because Michael Jordan did not face strong competitiors like Steph Curry and formidable teams like the Golden State warriors.
Micheal Jordan.
Many argue he is still the GOAT and the rest are playing catch up. Micheal Jordan has scored more points than Lebron James and recorded more Championships
He never lost in the finals
His stats include- Six championships, defensive player of the year awards. Six Finals MVP awards, five league MVPs. 14 All-Star appearances.
He played without the assistance of great players like Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosch, Kevin Love, and Kyrie Irving.
It is said that he revolutionized the game and brought beauty and style into it
Michael Jordan explains why he would never call himself the GOAT.

Kobe Bryant,
Five championships, Two Finals MVPs,one league MVP award 18 All-Star appearances.
He always comes a distant third in the comparison of the goats, but for some fans he is number one.
He has been described as an efficient player who wins a lot more games than Lebron James.
