When would stars learn that American laws are kind of weird sometimes, a simple fight can earn you jail time and a lifetime of lawsuits.

Ultimate Fighting Championship star Conor McGregor has been charged with assault after he attacked a bus carrying UFC fighters at a media-day event Thursday in New York City. McGregor’s group attacked a bus using trash cans, metal barricades and a metal dolly,

The incident, at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, left at least two athletes injured and unable to fight in Saturday night’s UFC 223, set to be held at the same arena, UFC said.

It’s been claimed that Lightweight fighter Michael Chiesa suffered head and facial cuts from broken glass,  Chiesa later said on Twitter that the New York State Athletic Commission determined he would not be allowed to fight on Saturday.

Flyweight Ray Borg, who was scheduled to face Brandon Moreno, is also unfit to fight due to multiple corneal abrasions, according to the UFC.

from the TMZ video released  i personally don’t see blood or any impact that can declare anyone unfit to fight , irrespective he has looked for trouble, guys would sue him for millions.

McGregor, who wasn’t on the UFC 223 card has been arrested and charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief, the New York Police Department said. he is expected to appear in court Friday today.

“This is the most disgusting thing that has ever happened in the history of the company, The organization deems today’s disruption completely unacceptable and is currently working on the consequences that will follow,” UFC said in a statement

I hope McGregor has some change from his 30Million dollars may weather fight, he has got a lot of damages to pay.
