The Vogue Cover is a Big deal – Vogue is the most Luxurious magazine in the world, they are snobbish – and  on the down side very white

To demonstrate how snobbish the Magazine is- 2014 was the first time Kim Kardashian made the cover alongside her husband Kanye West;  but lots of  Folks did not think she was worthy enough- even though she was already a huge Star.

Just saw latest @voguemagazine and am shocked to death! It's the end of an era when Kim K and Kanye as cover. Vogue US is done for me.

The first black photographer to shoot the cover of Vogue was Tyler Mitchell, 23,  in 2018. And that happened because of Music Powerhouse Beyonce.

So clearly Adesua Etomi’s cover is a big deal- She just made history as the First African Celebrity to cover the US issue of Vogue Magazine.

 Vogue Magazine has recognized Adesua Etomi is as one of the leading superstar actresses across the globe.

Nine other female stars were honored alongside Etomi – Scarlett Johansson  from the US. Angelababy  of China,  Deepika Padukone  from India and a hosts of others.

But Why Adesua Etomi- And not other star actresses like Genevieve Nnaji , Omotola or Omoni Oboli

Nigeria has top 4 highest grossing films of all time- Adesua Etomi  is in three of them-

Wedding party 2 is Nigeria’s highest grossing movie of all time making almost 500 million at the theaters. followed by wedding party 1 which is the second.

In fourth place for the most viewed movie of all time in Nigeria is King of Boys also featuring Adesua Etomi.

All these movies were shot between 2016 and 2018. Its safe to say that wedding party 1 and 2 was the highest point in Adesua Etomi’s career. 

Wedding party is also on Net flicks, which gave the movie an opportunity to enjoy a global audience- and allowed Adesua enjoy worldwide reach. 

So can we say she kinda of owes it to people like Mo Abudu and Kemi Adetiba for casting her?- of course grace of God dey involved as well.
