Who has been enjoying throwbacks this quarantine season?
I have been to eighties, nineties, before I stumbled on Will Smith old hits, and its super nostalgic I remember dancing to all these songs on channel O growing up, and I know many of you will relate.
Here’s my Top 3-
3)-Switch
Released in 2005- “Switch” was Smith’s highest charting single from 4th studio Album Lost and Found. The song peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot Digital Songs chart, selling 40,000 digital copies.
2) Gettin Jiggy with it
Released 1998- If you did not try the getting jiggy with it dance- that means we are from different generations.
MTV VMA best rap song in 1999 . people’s choice award. Grammy best rap Solo performance.
1) Men in black
Released 1997- this was will smith’s coming out party to a broader audience and the official goodbye to his comedic character – fresh prince of bel-air character
This is my number 1, just because of that frame where he was dancing with the alien- (let me see you take a walk with me, take a walk with me common). This earned him a Grammy best solo performance.
