This past Friday was “slay night”,  37 beautiful girls slugged it out on stage –  hair, makeup, cat-walks  and  bespoke fashion all on fleek to earn the title of the Most beautiful girl in Nigeria. The event which held in Bayelsa State (of all places) was hosted by Toke Makinwa and IK Osakioduwa.

The entire production was a total disaster- Where do we start?

The camera output was poor, like really terrible – picture NTA 1980 or something,  The audio was faster than the  video. The red Carpet looked like a  secondary school prom. someone even suggested they could have at least tried to wash the red carpet.

Irrespective, a queen emerged-

Miss Imo, Anita Ukah is our queen, she will be representing Nigeria at the Miss World 2018 Pageant holding in December 8 in Sanya, China.  She is a 23 year old graduate of  Igbinedion University, Okada. In 2014, she contested and won the crown for “Miss Igbinedion”

*side note* Where are all those drop dead Hausa Fulani girls ni ( not suggesting she is not pretty enough, just asking)

Miss Edo was a crowd Favorite, but she dropped down to number three spot.

She is the second runner up and would be representing Nigeria in Mrs Tourism worldwide. Viewers loved her eyes, confidence and gentle demeanor. Oh, and least I forget, she answered her question confidently.

About 2 face performance

His performance was all types of weird.  the production messed him up, sounded like a bad karaoke. He performed his hit track “Amaka” (no back up dancers on a really large stage) – Watch on Goldmyne TV

His seem unusually excited, like he must have been high on something. To make matters worse, some random guys jumped on the stage to help him finish his performance.

For goodness sake Tu -face should have made his appearance during the African attire to sing African queen and not Amaka

I think we need a law that would ban Shaku Shaku for a bit, it getting too much.
