Bad news seem to be trailing the Senate President Bukola Saraki -Nassarawa blast & Offa Robbery

The Senate president Bukola Saraki has been touring some parts of Nigeria for his presidential bid- He has been to Ebonyi, Enugu State, Imo, then to the middle belt of Benue before he proceeded to Nassarawa on the 10th of September.

The explosion at Nassarawa happened  around 10 am yesterday just a few minutes after Bukola Saraki got into the State.

According to reports – 50 people were left with various degrees of burns and had to be rushed to the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH). The victims were transported to the health facility by sympathizers and officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC). Many of the victims were reportedly rushed to the hospital unconscious and naked as their clothes burnt off their bodies.

Few moments after the blasts Saraki who was already in the state was at the hospital, camera in tow, being proactive and supportive. He took to twitter to make the announcement

The deadly blast just happened as he visited the State- followed by perfect photo- ops for political statements.(quite a coincidence) also note worthy is that he is not pursuing an active investigation into cause of the explosion and how necessary legislation can forestall a future occurrence

The Offa robbery incident still trailing the Senate president-

The Nigerian Police implicated Bukola Saraki on the Offa bank robbery which left several people killed amongst them, 9 police officers. The evidence that allegedly implicated Saraki included a picture of one of the suspects at a recent wedding ceremony of Mr Saraki’s daughter.

In addition to that, a Lexus jeep GX-300(Ash Colour) with a sticker plate number with inscriptions “SARAKI” was allegedly used by the gang leader ( Ayoade Akinnibosun) during the Offa bank robbery.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not in anyway suggesting he had anything to do with the Offa robbery nor the blast in Nassarawa, but just pointing out the trail of bad news that follows him that’s all- make your own assumptions.
