Davido (DMW HQ) has signed a couple of artist which are still Up & coming: artist like Lola Rae and Mayorkun. They can be easily defined as the next best thing in music. but have not established superstar status yet.
Wizkid (star boy) His star boy label has signed a couple of artist already, among them is Mr eazi who has already amassed a large fan-base and equally gets nominated in categories alongside side wizkid and Davido

Mr Eazi gave an interview in July claiming he was not signed as an artist for star-boy records rather they were together on a business arrangement. if thats the case, then we are so not sure who to award this category

Hmmmm. I think I agree with Banky. There is no king to crown. The sky is wide enough for more stars to fit in. besides, its too close to call.
We should bundle them into a studio and force them to do us a collabo.
