In one of Cardi B’s many Instagram videos; she  talked about  growing up; according to her, she wondered why her school did not have cheerleaders and nice lockers like they did in the Disney movies, then as  she got older, she realized it’s because they were poor and lived in the hood.

Cardi and Offset got married in September 2017 with a frills-free ceremony. “We found someone to marry us, and she did, just the two of us and my cousin. I said I do, with no dress, no makeup and no ring!” she described.

At the time Offset got down on one knee to propose to her with an 8- carat pear shaped diamond ring, they had already been married for 1 month.

Cardi took to social media on September 25th with an emotional note confirming the rumors, writing, “There are so many moments that I share with the world and there are moments that I want to keep for myself! Getting married was one of those moments! Our relationship was so new, breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing to do, but we [were] so in love we didn’t want to lose each other.”
Melinda Guess was the officiating minister, who also confessed they were casually dressed in T-shirt and jeans when she wedded them.

Hmm, wonder if they signed a prenup (not that I am suggesting anything)
